British label set up in London by the Palmer brothers (Harry, Jeff and Carl), initially issuing soul before becoming a major UK outlet for Jamaican music from 1967. Much of its output was licensed from producers such as Clancy Eccles, Bunny Lee and Lee 'Scratch' Perry, with hits including Derrick Morgan's 'Moon Hop' and Max Romeo's 'Wet Dream', spread across sub-labels like Crab, Gas, Punch and Unity.
