Fabio (born Fitzroy Heslop) is a British drum and bass DJ and producer, regarded with his longtime partner Grooverider as an originator of the jungle and drum and bass scene. Emerging from South London pirate radio in the mid-1980s, the pair ran the influential weekly club night Rage at Heaven from 1988, where imported house and techno mutated into jungle. They took the sound to Kiss FM and then BBC Radio 1, helping bring drum and bass to mainstream audiences.
