Frankie Paul (born Paul Blake, 1965-2017) was a prolific Jamaican dancehall and reggae singer, born visually impaired and often dubbed "the Jamaican Stevie Wonder." He rose to fame in the early 1980s and recorded voluminously throughout the decade, scoring a star-making hit with the Junjo Lawes-produced "Pass the Tu-Sheng-Peng" (1984). He remained a fixture of Jamaican music until his death in Kingston in 2017.
