George 'Peckings' Price

Shepherd's Bush record man who, from his 1960 arrival in London, carried Studio One discs around Ladbroke Grove in a suitcase before opening Peckings Records in 1974 — the first shop to import Jamaican records straight to the UK and Coxsone Dodd's British agent; commemorated with a 2022 blue plaque.
