Jesse Royal (born Jesse David Leroi Grey, 29 April 1989, in Saint James, Jamaica) is a Jamaican roots-reggae singer associated with the Reggae Revival movement alongside Chronixx, Jah9 and Protoje. Mentored early by producer Fatis Burrell, he gained wide attention with the Winta James-produced "Modern Day Judas" and released his debut album Lily of Da Valley in 2017. His second album, Royal (2021, Easy Star Records), featured collaborations with Vybz Kartel, Protoje and Stonebwoy and earned him a Grammy nomination.
