Lieutenant Stitchie (born Cleveland Laing, 1965) is a Jamaican deejay from Spanish Town who worked as a biology teacher before breaking into music. He rose in the mid-1980s working with Prince Jammy, scoring with the 1986 single 'Wear Yuh Size' and his 1987 debut album 'Great Ambition', and later signed to Atlantic Records. After surviving a serious car crash in 1997 he turned to gospel reggae, working thereafter as Stitchie.
