Maria Papaefstathiou is a Greek graphic designer, based in Athens, who co-founded the International Reggae Poster Contest with Jamaican designer Michael 'Freestylee' Thompson in 2011. A specialist in social and portrait poster design, she has continued organising the contest and its Art of Reggae exhibitions, working alongside cultural scholar Carolyn Cooper.
