Ras Daniel Heartman

Well supported

Ras Daniel Heartman (1942-1990), born Lloyd George Roberts, was a Jamaican Rastafari artist whose detailed pen drawings of dreadlocked figures and Ethiopian and biblical motifs became some of the most widely reproduced images in Rastafari visual culture, printed as posters worldwide and used on reggae album covers of the 1960s-70s. His 'Rasta Baby' (Prince Emanuel) portrait is iconic, and he appeared as Pedro in the 1972 film 'The Harder They Come'. Source note: Wikipedia, rasdanielheartman.com, Jamaicans.com.
