Steven "Lenky" Marsden is a Jamaican musician and producer best known as the creator of the 2002 Diwali riddim, one of dancehall's most influential and widely licensed rhythms. Diwali underpinned three US Billboard Hot 100 top-20 hits in 2003 - Sean Paul's "Get Busy," Wayne Wonder's "No Letting Go" and Lumidee's "Never Leave You (Uh Oooh, Uh Oooh)" - and its handclap pattern influenced pop and R&B production well beyond reggae. Marsden was named ASCAP Songwriter of the Year in 2004.
