Uziah "Sticky" Thompson (1936-2014) was a Jamaican percussionist, vocalist and deejay who became one of the island's most-recorded hand-percussion and effects players from the early 1970s. He worked as a member of studio house bands and appeared on hundreds of albums including Culture's Two Sevens Clash, Burning Spear's Dry and Heavy, and recordings by Peter Tosh, The Congos and Lee "Scratch" Perry.
