Wilfred Limonious (1949-1999) was a Jamaican cartoonist and illustrator whose vibrant, humorous hand-lettered record sleeves and flyers largely defined the visual look of 1980s dancehall. A graduate of the Jamaica School of Art, he drew comic strips for the Jamaica Star and literacy materials for JAMAL before illustrating hundreds of dancehall covers (his first widely noted being Jah Thomas's 'Shoulder Move' on Midnight Rock, 1983), many for King Jammy's productions.
