Metro Media is a Kingston sound system originally started around 1974 in the Woodford Park area by Lou Gooden, and taken over after his mid-1970s migration by Jimmy "Daddy" Metro (Haldane James). Renowned as a clash specialist known for its distinctive dubplates and selecting style, it toured internationally through the 1980s to England, Canada and Japan.
