Sound Trooper is the Jamaican sound system founded in 1999 by selector Ricky Trooper after he left Killamanjaro, quickly establishing itself as a fearsome clash sound. It won World Clash's 'Death Before Dishonour' in 2006, cementing Ricky Trooper's reputation as one of the leading war deejays of the dubplate era.
